Looks like a quality fit. If I did have to pick fault it would be not doing the fillers flush to the doors and the centre filler above sink would have maybe looked better halved and stuck either side butting upto the vertical clad on panel

I agree that the panels would have looked better flush Steve, the designer hadn't allowed enough material for this though and after the stress of this fit in general I didn't bother ordering more up at the end of the job, I'd had enough by then and just let it go haha. 

As for dividing the centre space above the sink and putting it either side of the 2 top boxes that would have then meant the doors wouldn't have lined up with the 900 wall units below (outside edges far left and far right), the margins would be off, is this what you mean?. Its a difficult one really, personal preference I guess?. I did enquire about getting some laminate edging the same colour as the doors so I could edge a filler piece and pop it flush in the centre but had no joy getting it as I believe the panels are spray finish meaning they didn't stock this colour edging. 

Stretch/Prem, what lens do you commonly use on your cameras when taking snaps of kitchens? just the standard 18-55 or a lower mm wide angle? if so what size exactly and does it distort the edges as much as the go pro does with mine or is there an improvement?

I use a Sigma 10-20 wide angle. I can get everything in easily with this lens.  You can buy a second hand DSLR for 50 - 100.  Its the lens that you need,  a fish eye will distort a little.

I'm with Prem in that we do a lot of kitchens that are run of the mill and while it's worth taking a few pics for posterity, most of them are there to fill the diary and pay the bills.

Every now and again we get one that is really different or special and then I will get the DSLR out but only when it's completely finished, dressed and decorated. Unfortunately we don't offer decoration as a service so that's rare but if I do the the standard 18-55 lens is enough for me.

I'll be honest, I've had my Canon EOS30D for a number of years now and I would think that the megapixel capability on my iPhone 7 probably beats it hands down!!

Mega pixel are not what you need to compare any camera.  Once you get over 10 meg you will find it hard to tell the difference from an 18 meg.  Its all about the LENS.  Get a 10mm prime or 10-20 lens, you won't be disappointed.
