Good work Rapidset - looks very nice and I think you'll be absolutely fine fitting full time.

The only negative I'd add, which isn't your work anyway, is it's nice to try to get symmetry with the sockets - so same distance each side from the hob and from the ends of the worktop on the other side. My electrician is great and has driven my thoughts here. Not all are, and so can be guided by you!

Haha.. I did look at the other make but my mate beat them on price and quality 

@ Rob: There are certain words that cannot be used here. We all have standards to observe! TBH, I just reserve that privilege for you.

@ Rapidset : Crown won't always beat Howdens on price but quality will win out every time. You made a good choice and it helps to have a few contacts,

The Gala painted range looks surprisingly authentic although the end panels do let them down a bit as they are only wrapped and rounded on one edge so they don't always look as they "belong". That would be one criticism.

Another is that the doors are 22mm thick. Not a problem in itself normally, but if you have an integrated appliance that is hinged such as a fridge or freezer with a fillet on the hinged side you do need to allow a larger clearance when installing the appliance as the door fascia will bind on the adjacent fillet.

Too be honest I was a little disapointed with the end panels and if I do another I will take into consideration what you said about an intergrated appliance.
