Urgent Appeal

Hi gang,

Been away on business this week and I believe what is the last piece of the space-plug puzzle has fallen into place and our chances of changing the industry standard have just dramatically risen again. But I need some help. I need some guys to trial an extension of the original idea for me and keep it stum at the same time. It's still covered by my patent but control of info is still paramount. I'm looking for a few volunteers, anyone who makes their own units preferably, or doing a rigid kitchen fit soon to trial an idea. The hardware will obviously come free and i'm even happy to pay a small fee if it really makes a difference, but i'm hoping curiosity, interest and good will might do it alone. If you're interested in helping just send me a pm, with a mobile number would be good - but i really need to be able to trust you and so i'd have to kinda stick to the more "usual suspects on the site" if you catch my drift - absolutely no offence meant to anyone. I'm fitting a rigid kitchen next week, a bathroom with rigid units the week after that! Don't know how or if it's something I can help with at all.

But I'll help if I can, I've never used the space plugs, I was looking at them yesterday to be honest and thought about giving some a go. Looks a neat idea.

I should have put something up but i've got some volunteeers now cheers fella. Used the sample few space plugs I got from the website last week, I had a run of units on 1 wall 3m across, I used 6 plugs 1 per unit! Solid as a rock, I've in the past done something similar with washers and copper pipe etc when L-brackets were nearly impossible to fit. I'm impressed so far, I can see other uses as well, there a good thing to have on the van I know they'll come in again in other scenarios.

Thanks Graftershave Very glad you like them Obviously I'd like all units to go in with them, but they definitely come into their own in the more awkward scenarios - very easy work of backing off b.bars that have a void - adding side panels to corner fillets etc

Just out of interest, if there was zero cost implication to the price of the unit from your supplier, would you guys be happy to find Space-Plugs free in the box, so to speak, instead of l brackets/stretcher plates? If the feedback on this is good it could make for some very good evidence to show the buyers at the manufacturers
