Yeah, I am sure that some newbies to the trade would have not thought about the "Tip" corner post and infills. I know many designers I have worked with don't really think about this area. Then again, maybe just the places I have worked.
I think if I found something that I already knew I would either not bother commenting or add something to the discussion and not just embarrass someone by making them think it's just common knowledge. Still what done is done and life goes on.

With regards to jumping into an old thread. I did register before doing so. Again I thought my point was valid and I am still waiting on a response from Hotpoint/Indesit on my situation with a 450mm space on the LH of a Luce Induction hob.
It pisses me off when instructions are not clear and there is not enough information, or contradictions, are given in them. Setting up an oven housing with the appliances and they don't give overhangs for the top and bottom. How can we help the fitters without this? They have to do this on site and un-box them to measure and it is a pain. I used to sell mostly Neff and they give this info.

TOP DOOR - not heard of them. Do they only make doors for wall units?....and you have to use their sister company called BOTTOM DOOR for base units?
