Hi
Many thanks for all your welcome. How is everyone finding the recession ???

It's difficult to judge for me. The 1st half of this year was dire with very few kitchen enquiries. The 2nd half is far better but that's down to a big website upgrade combined with a Google Ads campaign. It's too early to tell yet whether I can turn those enquiries into beer tokens.

I've found the weather has brought customers out of their hibernation. Really picked up in the last month. Panick

I think that ppl want a quality personal service for the same price as B&Poo, Wren and Howdens. They just don't understand the difference. The 90's my were my busiest and most lucrative replacing the cheap shite mfi called kitchens. Different generation now but they will learn. Just got to keep on going until that era comes back.

I don't think those days are coming back, the internet has taught us all the price of everything and the value of nothing. However there will always be people that can see past that. I haven't sold a kitchen for months though I'm working on loads of enquiries at the moment. Normally I would just get on with it and know that I would convert at least half of them. Right now I'm not convinced I'll sell anything. That's nothing to do with the economic outlook, it's the outlook in my head. |
