I feel a little bit like one of the dragons lol unfortunately not one of the nice ones. I think you've created a product to overcome a problem that doesn't exist. Sorry.

Also 200 2 inch screws are £3+vat, 200 120mm screws £11.80+vat

Is it on a kind of screw adjust. I like the idea of that for certain jobs but on a whole I think I'll be staying with the L bracket

Was just browsing and realised it was a bit remiss of me not to point out that the cost difference is therefore less than 88p per job! You'd get at least 10 whole kitchens out of a box of 200.

i think a box of 200 will go a lot further than that Cliff, i doubt all the fitters here fix two brackets to all base units.

re longer process, it has to be longer than L brackets as you have to drill through the back brace to allow you to drill the wall.

there are a few kitchens that it won't work on properly i.e. hardback board kitchens, cheep ones.

I myself would buy them to have it the van for the stud wall fixings.

can they extend to bring the units off the wall say 20mm, thinking for my granite jobs i like to have a wider top if possible.

How many? Couldn't agree more - these are ideal for bolting your run together level and just pin where you feel appropriate - 8 base units on average - 12/14? Makes it less than 50p difference.

Longer? Although you have to drill the cab - you dont have to attach the brackets - so whilst most of us carry a quality screw box for decent size stuff we all end up trying to attach the brackets with crappy single thread 12mm screws that come in the bag and dont want to bite in melamine! Also more often than not you'll chuck one in the middle over one on each ear. So reducing the number of cycles too.

Stud walls? Not getting this bit mate! why more appropriate for stud walls? I'm desperate to know!!!

Off wall adjustment? You can over adjust, so if you were to need to shim a cab off the wall you can do away with the shims with these - not sure you'd want to bring them off 20mm though - but could be possible.

Ok, the back cant flex but the rest of the unit can flex forwards as like i said before the first cam n dowel can be down the unit quite a bit

OHHHHH! With you now....... that is genius - i'd never even thought of that! Prem.... you're clever

On the width thing - my little plug is designed to cover various depth service spaces, so you'd get the required expansion on any of the units where the cross-brace is around 40mm.
