Hi All

I'm based in East Central Scotland.

Made redundant from a desk job 2 months ago (great job too much stress & too many hours!). So always been handy around the house & decided to advertise in the local rag, which I confess thought would be a waste of £50, doing general handyman work. I'm good at tiling, plastering, and fitting (hmm 'jack of all, master of...), anyway 3 weeks later & some good feedback from customers & I've still got 1 full week of work to go.

I'm keen to 'specialise' in Kitchen fitting as I enjoy the variety of work. I'm still learning & its bloody tiring, but life has certainly begun at 40 for me!

Hope I can contribute to the forum.

Good luck with the new career venture, it can be very rewarding.

Always remember, kitchen fitters are 10 a penny; good kitchen fitters however, are a much rarer beast and worth their weight in gold. I hope you'll be one of the latter!
