Thanks for sharing Paddy.
I really like the second one ….. there is a new German showroom around the corner from me who has a whole bank off them (around 3000mm in total length) lined up in their front display in bright yellow. They look really smart and I think they function really well ….. although costly they are a vast improvement over say a tambour door set up.

Hi Daniel
They certainly looked impressive, along with other things in their showroom including these displays .... The handle on the display above, was Copper Leaf Plated & is also available in Silver Leaf & Gold Leaf finish.... !!!! This display above is in Natural Concrete with a new style stainless steel angled handle.... !!!

Looks good.
Is that an actual concrete composite door or faux concrete (laminate) ? I spy your suppliers using the new legro box system ..... We have just started using them, really nice !!

It is a laminate door finish Daniel.
The official name they use for it is "Breton Natur", which is translated to natural concrete. Funnily enough, Paddy and I were not initially impressed with the sample door when it arrived at the showroom, but when we saw it in the flesh as a full sized display in Germany at the weekend, it looked miles better!!!! We are planning on putting it on display in the Showroom with the same handle as pictured above. A bit different from the standard J handled door. Snezza.

The laminates coming out of the German and Italian factories are so good now ....... Really innovative finishes and textures, and a quarter of the price of the finishes they are replicating.
45 degree cut doors like in your image are now the future for the handle less kitchen, use to be just for the hi end manufacturers. It starts to get really interesting when you can design with end panels that are mitred to the side of the door as well. I haven't seen one with the steel trim though, that's a new one on me ..... Can you spec without or in different finishes ?

I don't believe they are offering this style of door WITHOUT the St/Steel angled handle, and as for different colours, I would have to ask Paddy to look into it. They do offer a coloured option on their Linear style handle (full cabinet width with handle set into cabinets, not doors). |
