Looks great mate. Are you going back to take some pics when it's all finished? The wok burner looks close to the mantle! I've not fitted a wok burner so not sure on the specs. What extraction do you use?

We are based in Glasgow, job was in Elgin 200miles away. Will get some photos when floor finished (tiles eventually arrived yesterday) sockets changed.............and 10/10 for observation. The granite templater, centred the burner cut out between mantle and AGA, leaving 110mm from mantle. Regulation 150mm. It should have been centre of 400 unit below, this allowing about 200mm from edge. I realised when cutting the packers away for under capping after Granite fit. They will be replacing, it's being dealt with, it was raised on Friday.

Double Neff extractors with double outlets (not breached) its a 90o then direct through wall.....I think it will be enough.

I used to do this alot with Marble when working in London. I think the quarry for Kashmir White has been closed, so I heard anyway. Apparently it's only available now if in stock.

Agreed the down stand is a very nice touch

uuhmmm that might make kashmir a little more difficult to get now ..... price hike here we come I suspect !!

Thanks for pointing out the wok burner PJK. Being completely mad, I really like things to be symmetrical and couldn't figure out why the Aga was off centre. I don't think I could live with an Aga off centre in an inglenook in my kitchen. Just shows how awkward I am. I'm glad I'm not one of my customers.

is that an Irish room conversion .. knocking two into one .. ie the ceiling comes down ?
strange to see 2 windows above each other like that

Its still available, but someone told me they shut the quarry, because of illegal quarrying..... I heard something about Zebrano also, it may all be alot of shite, you can never trust what you read in "The Digger"

Yes it is, the splay left of mantle, houses the old fireplace from the room above. I would have made that a feature with recess, but what do I know. I uploaded a couple of pictures to Photobucket, but don't know how to add them (stretch did last ones for me) after joists were removed.
