One I fitted a while back has just had Creoglass in to fit the tops and they took a few photos.

As you say Chris,....not to everyones taste but it is certainly eyecatching. 

I recognise that Hood canopy...it looks familiar!

Yeah it came out well mate. Probably didn't quite build it the way you did yours as I wanted to do as much as I could in the workshop then it all went up in two parts. I think I sent you pictures at the time.

Yes, I remember looking at the pictures you sent me at the time you were building it.

How's the extractor for efficiency...? I remember you telling me you couldnt get a route out for the Ducting and I see from the pictures you just posted that you have vents similar to the ones I fitted on the end of the Boxing/canopy.

to be honest I never saw it running as the sparks hadn't connected up the feed to it last time I was there. It was a bit of a pain as Benchmarx told me that the re circulation kit was just a filter, I know now that it isn't just a filter it comes in a big stainless steel box that you're supposed to mount in the ceiling at a certain distance away which we couldn't do. I ended up having to adapt it with an angle grinder and I fitted it in one end of the canopy, covering it with a metal vent. Worked well in the end just needs a better vent as all I could find at the time was one of those aluminium covers.

wow thats certainly eye catching.

Never seen a booked matched glass worktop like that before, I have heard good things about Creo Glass actually, and by that yard stick I can understand why.  Not to my taste but hey ho.

In 12 years of doing this I've never ever seen anything like it - It genuinely looks good as well !
