Calico encore worktops

Evening all,

Today I fitted calico encore worktops. However I done two joints, the first one combring up really well, the second has a dark mark which I have been unable to remove. I tried sanding and the kit supplied with the worktops ..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Sounds like you didn't clean the joint before adding the adhesive. That's the most common reason for the dark line. JRB is very good at this sort of thing but he doesn't come to the forum a lot nowadays :(

Is the dark line all the way across the joint or a section of it?

The dark line is covering 70% of the joint ??

Hi BB,

Tim is Snezza, sorry for the confusion. There is a way of routing out the joint and adding a strip but that was posted by Snezza I think. If it's 70% and right to the back I doubt that'll be possible
