Maybe get a tiler in to help you on the next one and over time you'll learn although you may find it is more profitable to sub the tiling out anyway as the would be a lot quicker and less stress on yourself.

Is there access to the cistern by the way? As that may cause some problems if not.

O hell yes, So going to sub out tiling. Not my favourite hobby.
Yes there is acess to the cistern. Just above the toilet one full tile is fixed by screws (you can just see the chrome caps) and siliconed in the grout line.(easy job to cut if need).

nice job for your first, the angled bezel on the toilet flush usually gets bined so it fits flush to the tile.

Yes, good placement of the sticky bog brush there! Kind of takes the focus away from the toilet flush a bit!

Live and learn - will have a flush fitting flush (clues in the name?) from now on .....or could stick to sticky out and have a trademark?
