Matt Grey German True Handless Kitchen. - snezza - 10-07-2018

A few pictures of a Kitchen and Utility Room I have been doing.

The cabinets are German from Stormer. The door colour is Matt Grey Papyrus.
Worktops & splashback in the kitchen are 20mm Dekton Trillium. Appliances in the kitchen are all Siemens except the Ovens which are Neff (customer wanted the Hide & Slide function) and the Fridge Drawer which was Hotpoint.

Sink is from Blanco and Tap is a Quooker.

The last photo shows what governed the finished height of all the tall cabinets, and therefore the base unit height.
The plinth height ended up at 115mm with 780mm high cabinets and then the 20mm Dekton giving a finished working height of 915mm.

The large steel beam was huge,....... I decided to box in the area above the tall units to match the beam as best I could. I think it helps to hide the beam to a degree....!

Wall unit doors are all Tip On opening, including the Extractor Hood cabinet.

Pictures of the Utility Room to follow.

love that.  ThumbUp

We are just finishing a job with Trillium tops, I really like it.

but in true forum nit picking style...

are the side of the tall units white on the sides that face the hob? and is the cabinet to the left of the hob notched for a handle rail 3/4 of the way up?

Very nice mate ThumbUp

How are the appliances for ventilation? with the boxing in above, very neat.

I hope thats not a double Dalek lurking at the end of the towers. Bling

.....They are currently white Mitch!
The Germans made a highly unusual mistake and sent the tall gables on the wrong cabinets for those 2 tall units. The left and right hand gables on the left hand unit should have been fitted on the right hand unit and vice versa....!

I told them immediately and the replacement tall units are due in to me in 2 weeks. I will then remove the 2 units you see in the pictures and replace them.

The notch you can see is to allow the handle to flow through above the Ovens, if that makes sense...?

The space above the tall units is vented to the outside via a 100mm vent to allow the warm air to escape. The boxing I made out of 12mm MRMDF with a slight shadow gap between the bottom of it and the top of the units.

.......And as soon as I saw the Double Dalek bin this morning, ....I thought,.."Prem's gonna love this..!"

There is a double bin unit in the set of drawers to the LHS of the Hob as well...!

The handle on the Sink side of the Island is not technically True Handless, purely because of the Fridge Drawer unit at the Left hand end of the Island. It's not a bad compromise and it was one the Client was willing to make to get the Fridge in that position.

This is the Utility Room.

Same sort of Matt finish, but in a much milder Grey. Worktop & Upstand in here is a laminate with PP edging. Sink & Tap are both from Blanco and a 2nd Siemens integrated D/W to the LHS of the sink unit.

The space at the end below the custom sized Top Boxes is for a Tall S/Steel Fridge, Wine Cooler and Freezer, all matching.

The tall open units i made on site to fit the space.

looks great - I would love to get into designing these sort of kitchens, completely different ball game to what we usually do! Although I do have a Burbidge Otto to get my teeth into.....

Love the colour and overall look Smile
