Happy New Year.. - David Owen - 01-01-2017

Hi & Happy New Year.

I got directed here by Joe at Cuillin Ridge, I asked him for a few Articad tips on Twitter. He kindly obliged and also told me to check out KFF.
And here I am.... ThumbUp

I do a bit of lurking on FOG but find it a bit more DIY focused, having said that there is some really great stuff there.

I recognize a few names here from twitter   Wave30h

I spend about 50% of the year fitting my own kitchens and the other 50% fitting for a couple of local companies. Typically I fit PWS, Burbidge, Stormer and Stoneham.

I only joined yesterday and already I'm blown away by the quality of work, both renders and real kitchens.

Wishing everyone a busy and successful 2017.

Welcome along David !  ThumbUp

I see you've mentioned Stormer kitchens above, who are you fitting them for? I also supply Stormer kitchens.

Wave30h Thanks Snezza.

Its for a company in Alcester, The KTB Gallery. I have fitted a lot of Bauformat kitchens for them but they have recently switched to Stormer.

Better...difficult to say. The range of doors are certainly bigger and the lighting packs are good, but I can't say there is much of a difference in quality. Whats your thoughts?

I prefer the 8mm backs in the Stormer cabinets over the hardboard backs in the Bauformat cabinets. I know you can spec the Bauformat with an 8mm back but it's an additional optional extra.
I've  been dealing with Stormer for many years now and Bauformat for 2 years. Overall, I  prefer to fit Stormer kitchens than anyone else's.
