German True Handless Kitchen with Diresco Quartz. - snezza - 31-10-2016

I finished this one recently.

Kitchen is from Stormer. Doors are Stone Grey Gloss & Ash Dark Brown, both with Stainless Steel edges and 100mm Stainless Steel plinth. Base units are 780mm high.

Worktops are Diresco Quartz Beach Taupe, with a faceted edge. Appliances are all Siemens. The Ovens were the customers own as they were only a couple of years old.

Sink & Taps are from Blanco.

The Tamba Door Dresser is one of those touch control electric drive units.

don't know about the black edge on the white doors, but that's just personal taste.

Nice design and I like the climber in the corner.  Icon_super

The lighter coloured doors are Gloss Grey (very pale) and the door edges are all in Stainless Steel including the Ash dark Brown doors. The dark effect is due to the backing on the Stainless Steel edging.

I prefer the dark line myself as it defines the Stainless Steel edge. Without it, the door can look a bit bland in my opinion.

That dresser is nice, but then it ought to be considering how much it was....!!!! What I ordered it in extra deep as well, i think it was about 470mm depth.

Top job Snez   ThumbUp

I like the grey edged doors actually, defines the doors nicely and gives a nice effect off the steel profiles and the dark worktop edge.

I love those kessembohmer tambour door units, they work a treat .... its a shame they don't do them in finishes to match the rest of the kitchen, only being able to spec coloured glass is a bit limiting !!

I very much like the worktop edge as well .... squared off and then cut at an angle is quite unusual.

PHEW...!!!  Glad i'm not alone in liking the edge detail on the doors! I do think it adds a nice contrast.

That Tambour unit caused me more headaches on this job than anything else! It was originally just going to be a manually operated unit, but the Client was adamant he wanted Gloss Black slats.......Stormer dont offer this unit in Gloss Black UNLESS its the electrically operated one. The price of it was scary (well, it was to me anyway...!!)

My stone guy rang me twice after his fitters had been and done the template, checking to see if this was exactly how the Client wanted the edge profile. The Client had actually made a mock-up in MDF of the shape/profile of the edging he wanted. He is very happy with the finished job.

I also love the darker edging,  very classy.

Not loving the Darlek in the corner, and the orange reflection in the oven doors Bling

Where does this hatred of cylindrical bins come from Ray.....??? It does seem a lot of my Clints do have this type of bin but they don't bother me as much as they bother you... Th_ROFLMAO

Really nice looking job...... I do like the mix of the gloss and the wood grain effects and when it's coupled with handleless it really looks the part.

Love that chunky breakfast bar end with the profile running through.

I'm not a fan of Dalek bins either but unless the customer asks for integrated bins I rarely suggest them. Seems a shame with all those full height fascias not to have a bin behind one of them.

A Dalek bin kitchen suggests a client who can't be arsed to recycle or separate their waste unless they're happy to put all their rubbish in the bins outside.

Top job - regardless of the bin!
