Latest kitchen - Joe the chip - 09-11-2015 Thought i'd post up some pictures of a kitchen that i did in May/June this year. It's from masterclass and it is the Italia door, J profile, in gloss light grey and matt white. Units above hob and on island are the centro door, a flat ash veneered door painted in a colour called lava. This was quite an important kitchen as it was my moms! We were on it for about 4 weeks in all. Appliances are Siemens which include the new single oven with built in microwave, combi micro, steam oven and 29cm warming drawer. Fridge is neff, boiling water tap is Franke, worktops are Minerva and the splashback is a gloss acrylic panel named Akril, from blackheath. Let me know what you think! RE: Latest kitchen - owen - 09-11-2015 Very nice I love the design, particuarly the way the sink run wraps round the corner, sometimes I think curved units can look a bit OTT but they really make this part of the kitchen work well. Are the tower units extra tall? If so, is that why there is the extra bit of plinth across the top of the wall units over the hob? If you had described that to me I would have thought it would look shit, but it works really well! P.S. Did you get any extra discount from Andrew with it being your mum's kitchen? RE: Latest kitchen - Colour Republic - 10-11-2015 Serious brownie points with the mum! Agree with Owen, the curved wrap around really works well. Like the floor tiles too, where were they from? RE: Latest kitchen - PREM - 10-11-2015 Like it all Joe Is there another radiator in the kitchen end? i see two in the dining. Like the lack of cornice and pelmit it gives a sharper look to it all. The internal doors are nice too, i have a ROC door with the same glass in it. And good pictures also. RE: Latest kitchen - Joe the chip - 10-11-2015 Owen the tall units are regular 1970s, the plinth is used above the wall units because we changed the hood at last minute and the pipe on top would have been visible. I like the way it looks though and have started doing that with units above American fridge freezers when using 2150 tall units, have done it a few times now. Mom got a little extra discount but she sorted that herself with Andrew, ours is a family business and she does the books! It also took her approximately 2.5 years and 15 different designs to choose it all. CR not too sure on the manufacturer, I'll have a look at a box next time I'm over. They were a 900 x 450 polished porcelain, tiler made a lovely job of them! Prem the radiator in the kitchen end is going on the small space of wall between the kitchen and conservatory, the wall parallel to the sink wall I mean. Pictures came out well, however my favourite shot has my reflection in the oven! Thanks for Clints guys RE: Latest kitchen - Festerfly - 10-11-2015 Looks really good! Agree with the Clints about the curved cabinet by the sink too. RE: Latest kitchen - nsk - 17-11-2015 looks amazing Joe, cant fault it at all. |
