RE: British Kitchen - Matt Lacquered - Joe the chip - 10-08-2015 Looks mint! I love the colour, you all seem to be talking about these Matt lacquer doors a lot, I've yet get my hands on any but they look ace in the photos. Install looks really good (except for no end panels !), I like the spacer/filler above the washer, makes it look like its solidly installed. Although I don't know if I'd have that many glasses above it if it was running a cycle. I dread to think the cost of all those curves! I'm counting 9 external and 4 internal, that right? Must have been a nightmare joining plinths all over the place! A lovely job lot of Siemens appliances as well. It all makes it look a lovely top spec kitchen. Top work Edit : I love the inset detailing on the sink, and the drip tray inside the cabinet. RE: British Kitchen - Matt Lacquered - jonny round boy - 10-08-2015 Fookin' awesome mate! Just one thing though - don't know how he snuck in, but there seems to be a portly orange gentleman in one of the pictures... RE: British Kitchen - Matt Lacquered - PREM - 10-08-2015 Who is that numty in the space plug shirt. Im sure you put that shirt on just for the photo's to wind us up. Nice fit, the tiles are growing on me. At first my initial thought was checker board. Even painted the louver door the same colour, like the wine and cooling tower. Did you buy a 300 tower and cut it down? must have been a snug fit, hight and width. Overall its what we come to expect from you snez top job, apart from the shirt. RE: British Kitchen - Matt Lacquered - snezza - 10-08-2015 Cheers Guys! Its become a mini-tradition now,......SpacePlugs T Shirt on when taking pictures....Hopefully all helps towards the KFF yacht...!!!!! "Portly".....Who you calling "Portly"... Everyone knows the camera adds 10lbs to you....!!!! The unit above the wine cooler was ordered as a 1245 high X 560 deep unit. It just hangs between the tall Fridge & Freezer housings. It was a snug fit! [attachment=1879] [attachment=1880] [attachment=1881] The Client really wanted all those curves, so between her and Designer Paddy, this is the finished result! I'm a bit surprised that no-one has spotted the obvious practical problem of the 2 doors either side of the Hood though....!!!!????? Again, this was explained to the Client, but she was adamant that the look & flow of the curves was more important than the practical use of those 2 cabinets. The recessed sink area was also specified by the Client, and she is thrilled with the finished result. There were a lot of plinth joints, as you can imagine! They were all held together with 30mm Dominos. RE: British Kitchen - Matt Lacquered - PJK - 10-08-2015 Cracking job yet again mate. Love it. How many days did that take to fit? Erm, .......I've got to think about that for a minute.....It was stretched out a bit as I had to wait for the wall tiling to be done and the Granite to be templated & fitted. If I remember correctly, including the 3 hours this morning, about 8 to 9 days, give or take. RE: British Kitchen - Matt Lacquered - Daniel - 16-08-2015 Forgive me if I'm wrong but it looks like one of those designs where the client had a bit too much say so I'm going to be completely honest Tim and say I don't particularly like bits of the design ..... BUT the skills gone in to make the whole thing fit so perfectly is, as ever, right out of the top drawer. Top top fit mate EDIT - just re read that and didn't mean that to sound like a dig at you paddy, just an observation.
