Some recent kitchen installations. - Joe the chip - 23-08-2014 Been a while since I've posted some completed kitchen photos so I'd thought I'd share some today! First up is from Masterclass kitchens in South Wales - I'll be putting 3 displays of theirs in our showroom next month. This one is there 'Sherbourne' range, which is a solid oak shaker. With star galaxy worktops and Luce appliances. Lighting is Sensio. This kitchen had a regular low ceiling (in line with the beam) which was a flat roof. 6 Months before we started they had a builder put on a pitched roof above the flat roof as it was leaking. They then asked me to cut the flat roof out to create the vaulted ceiling and put a velux window in. Ripping down a felted flat roof from the inside is not fun! Next one is also from Masterclass, a 'Howarth' grained in Ivory. With blue pearl worktops and Luce appliances again (LG fridge). This was a nice job is it was my first one where the customers went on holiday before we started and returned after we'd finished! This last one is a Crown Imperial Zeluso, in coffee light and black oak, with Cimstone Arcadia quartz tops and Siemens appliances. This went into an extension so was just fitting the units and plumbing the sink ( no tiling or electrics etc). RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - Colour Republic - 23-08-2014 Nice! Especially like the Crown one. Not really made my mind up on Masterclass, Their stand at KKB was nicely presented and they do some nice extra sizes (i.e. 1200 wide drawer etc) but just so many of doors were foil wrap which was disappointing. A few little gems but seemed you'd have to cherry pick out of their collection so didn't bother looking in to it further What is the worktop leg made up of BTW? End panels? oh lastly, are those pendants from TLW (The lightworks)? if so what was the quality like? RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - chip off the block - 23-08-2014 I really like the last one. Be far better if you had cleaned those finger prints of the extractor for the photo RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - PJK - 23-08-2014 Great work mate Is it the photo or is the granite ESP on he last one pissed? RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - Colour Republic - 23-08-2014 Think it's a wide angle lens mate RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - PJK - 23-08-2014 Thought it would be the photo Joe, could you explain how the quartz ESP is fastened? Is it something to do with the reason it's done in two pieces? Cheers. RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - snezza - 23-08-2014 Nice variety of jobs there Joe! BUT, in true KFF fashion, Prem is right, you should have cleaned the St/Steel hood before taking the pictures Get yourself an E-Cloth, it removes fingerprints as if by magic Useful for Glass splashbacks and Appliances as well. Good looking projects though, well done mate! Snezza. RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - Joe the chip - 23-08-2014 Cheers guys! Ha I knew that'd be mentioned about the finger prints! They aren't final photos as the decorating hasn't been finished, you can't really see but there's still pencil lines all over the ceiling etc. The ESP is done in two 20mm thick pieces, and I have no idea why. They are glued together and the main top sits on top of it. It has also been tiled around, the tile adhesive, tile and floor leveller makes up about 40mm, so it is in nice and solid. Length of the top is 2.4m with the cabinet being 1200. I'm finding masterclass really good. They are great to fit and deal with. The units come rigid built with doors and drawer fronts on and pull outs installed. On the oak kitchen the 600 larder to the right of the oven is a pull out and swing. And the corner to the left of the sink has a magic corner. Also they are good at producing specials. You'll notice that there is a nib on the oak kitchen on the run with the curved unit. The nib is 120mm deep, so they made me the 800 bi fold unit with a 420 deep cab, and then a 120 wide wine rack to make up the depth with the curved unit. They do a lot of foil doors, but a lot of them are direct copies of their solid doors, I guess so that you can try and meet the customers budget with the door style they like. RE: Some recent kitchen installations. - Luke1984 - 26-08-2014 Nice. Really like the crown. |
