Induction hob installation - Kai_63 - 22-04-2014 We've bought a Samsung induction hob and the installation guide says we need to install an insulation panel between the oven and hob. From another thread on here it looks we need to install a sheet of MFC. What is the minimum depth we can get away with for this do you think as we are tight on space when allowing for vent gaps etc. I called Samsung to find out what this panel is and they said they would have to check with their specialist team as they didn't have further information as our kitchen fitting team would put the panel in! RE: Induction hob installation - emo_luke - 23-04-2014 6mm no more ply I use. What a pain in the arse it is to fit it. RE: Induction hob installation - PREM - 23-04-2014 Im not a big fan of this either, especially oven under. Yes where there is a draw, but i find it restricts the air flow for both appliances. I always take out the front rail for this reason, ovens that overheat and cut out are mainly due to insufficient air flow behind and above the appliance. |
