Hi everybody - glider64 - 27-01-2014 Hi everybody, I`ve been a carpenter since 1988 and haven`t fitted too many kitchens I tend to work on my own and contact with a reliable plumber/tiler/electrician is few and far between so I feel I can`t offer the "full service" Harvey RE: Hi everybody - Cliff1970 - 27-01-2014 Welcome Harvey, Go for it, you'll find the right guys eventually and plenty of help on here - wish you all the best mate RE: Hi everybody - PREM - 27-01-2014 Welcome Harvey A lot of kitchen fitters offer the full hit, then get there spark and plumber in to do what they think they are not able to do. RE: Hi everybody - glider64 - 28-01-2014 Thanks, that`s the problem I`ll be using a customer as a guinea pig for my "new team" and that could be disasterous RE: Hi everybody - Cliff1970 - 29-01-2014 (28-01-2014, 02:18 PM)glider64 Wrote: Thanks, that`s the problem I`ll be using a customer as a guinea pig for my "new team" and that could be disasterousOr it could be a roaring success don't forget RE: Hi everybody - glider64 - 29-01-2014 There is that too but I suppose it`s a confidence thing aswell RE: Hi everybody - PREM - 29-01-2014 That's the big thing I tell my apprentices, do everything with confidence. Whenever the cust is watching even when you have cocked up do it with confidence, picking your nose, chose your best finger and go for it. If the cust see's you in two minds, they will loose all confidence in you yourself. Plan your day with the trades so you know what should be done at the end of the day. Good luck |
