Fire - PJK - 17-07-2013

Hi guys,

I'm looking for someone local to me (sheffield/chesterfield) to team up with. I'm getting busy now and just don't have the time to do it all myself. I'm after someone so we can do something like stretch and claydon lad have done helping each other out on each others jobs not someone to rely on me to continually pass constant work on too.

I am after a time served fitter. NO TRAINEES

If you would like to PM me with your phone number I'll give you a call at have a chat about it.

Sorry about the title. I've always been told if you want help alway shout fire as ppl will come running to have a look. If you shout help most ppl will run the other way Happy

Jon

RE: Fire - Stretch - 17-07-2013

Lol, good thread title.

Now that myself and CL have joined forces we're both wondering why we didn't do it years ago. Life has become so much easier for both of us and it means that we are averaging a full refurb a week. Strip out, plumb and elec, fit kitchen and tile floor and wall. Bosh. And sometimes we get a couple of days off at the end of the week on simpler jobs.

Two experienced fitters work well alongside each other as there's never an excuse for either to be stood around doing nothing.

I think it's important not to strike up any sort of business partnership though...we individually get our own jobs and work for each other on those jobs but split any profits 50/50.

The fact that we live about 25 miles apart isn't an issue as it has effectively expanded our catchment area.

In fact I'm having a nice day off today due to a fook up with worktop deliveries and although I could have probably found something else to do today I decided I couldn't be arsed and had a lie in until 9am insteadROFL30h

Happy days!Happy

PS Jon,

I've moved this thread into "Need A Fitter?" as that section is also open to view by non members.

RE: Fire - snezza - 17-07-2013

I'm convinced the warmer weather makes people feel more positive and enthusiastic about spending their money.

I've had more people through the showroom door in the last 2 weeks than I have had in the previous 2 months. They have all been good leads and enquiries. Happy

Long may the sun keep shining!!!!!!!!!!!!!ThumbUp

Snezza.
