Daniel's Latest - Daniel - 17-08-2012 Hi all, Just completed this. Was very pleased with end result so got professional pictures done to put on my website. Gloss lacquered units and Corian tops. I supplied all the designs, technical drawings and material for the walnut peninsula and got my carpenter to fabricate on site ...... fairly straight forward. Upstands/splashback still to be confirmed but probably will go for painted glass next year when they can afford it. I was only contracted to design and dry fit the kitchen and tops, so I can't take credit for the rest of the work, but I really like the sink run up against the glass which was architects idea. hope you likes ....... RE: Daniel's Latest - PJK - 17-08-2012 Very very nice work mate. Did you take any pics of the sink run from the outside. Be interesting to see that view RE: Daniel's Latest - PREM - 17-08-2012 top job daniel like the glass also. the only thing i dont like is the redwood floor knotty pine with the walnut top, would have been nice to see a better match as if the top was coming out of the floor. if your "carpenter" ( carpenters do all the rough work that you invariably dont see ) Joiner was clever enough to do the very nice wine holder, think he could have mitred the walnut. would like to see it at night, with all the lights on. Be interesting to see that view Thanks PJK ...... we took a few pictures from outside but they didn't come out very well as we couldn't quite get an angle that I was happy with, so didn't get any produced. Does look good from the outside though. (17-08-2012, 12:47 PM)PREM Wrote: top job daniel like the glass also. In reality the floor is a much closer match to the walnut top than the pictures look ...... the photographer had to mess around quite a bit with the colour balance to reduce all the reflections from the glass, hence floor looks much redder than it actual is. Sorry, my 'Joiner' just does what I basically ask him ... so wine rack idea is all mine and I didn't want a mitred edge as I wanted it to match the other end panels in the kitchen. Thanks for the Clints though, love the detailed attention we get here RE: Daniel's Latest - nsk - 17-08-2012 Looks Fabulous Daniel.
