Welcome Jodie...... First of all, I think the shipping costs may outweigh the cost of the kitchen so this may not be an option.... Did you not think of learning to speak French before you moved there? French people are lazy sods and won't bother speaking English unless they really have to so perhaps your option is to employ a fitter from the UK who is prepared to put a flatpack in his van and drive over and fit it for you. How much are you prepared to spend on a kitchen plus fitting or are you intending to do it yourself?? RE: hello from france - jonny round boy - 21-02-2011 Hello, and welcome RE: hello from france - HudsonCarpentry - 22-02-2011 Just nip to Bricó depót and get a book. Then write down all the codes to the units you require and the quantity and give this to the man at the kitchen section. Normally when im at bricó I just point in the book and use fingers if they don't understand my French. If you don't understand what the words mean in the book, google French translation and use any of the many free online translators. RE: hello from france - jodie - 03-03-2011 thanks for the tip hudsoncarpentry, had never hear of brico, what a find! |
