gas hob help - Guest - 28-01-2011

Hello

We are having a new gas hob installed into our worktop, will we be able to locate a drawer under the hob & do we need some kind of heatshield? Where do i obtain one of these?

depends on the depth of the hob, how the gas pipes are run and the drawer. But all in all it should be ok

and thinkness of worktop 40mm?, pipe is usally on back right corner unless is very wide

Reduced depth draws are an option if the pipe work isn't tight to the back of the unit. As for the heat deflection, I only used to fit those on the german kitchens and that was only because it came with the kitchen. wouldn't no where to buy one from but dont think you need one.
