Latest job.... - Stretch - 24-01-2008

This is my latest. Thought I'd post up a pic as my customer was chuffed to bits with it. Few odds and ends to finish off but essentially it's there.

Stairs are being revamped at a later date! Oak treads being fitted and all the metalwork being painted black.

Very nice

What's the pelmet lighting?

John

Just the slimline fluorescents John. There's supposed to be downlighters in the glass wall cupboards but two different styles were sent so I need to replace one them. (Crown glass walls come supplied with a downlighter in the price).

Notice the handles pointing towards the centre of the kitchen?!

Nice.

Lovely job.

That's a nice looking kitchen.

The trouble with taking your own pictures, just after you've finished the job, is that there's no decoration - no pots and pans and pretty plates in the glazed units.

Mind you ... a guy I work with prefers it that way ... thinks it hides his handiwork if the customers put any stuff in it.

Do you ever go back later Stretch and take photos when it's in use? I keep meaning to do that with my designs ... but rarely get round to it.

I sort of feel that I'd like to take pictures maybe a few weeks after it's finished but I feel awkward about asking the customer to tidy up the kitchen and dress it up for me!

This looks really nice. I especially like the back splash. The colors are smooth and not too overpowering. We were thinking of doing a patio with a similar pattern. The greys and reds really make a nice pattern.
