When I get round to fabricating corian, samples of anything that looks difficult is getting left at home. When I get round to fabricating corian, samples of anything that looks difficult is getting left at home. Thanks Allan! Hope the move went well! Regarding the Corian, although it was a lot of work and most of the time was spent in all the preparation that cant be seen in the finished job, it certainly hasn't put me off doing more of it. I have a few good sized off-cuts left from this job and I am tempted to put Lava Rock on display in the Showroom so may well use them then. I am going to make a freestanding Drainer Board with grooves from the sink cut-out for the client to use on her kitchen sink, as she & I both felt it made more sense to keep the worktop/sink area clear and then just use a Draining Board when & if the need arose. The veined colours are a challenge, but worth the trouble it took as the Clints are very happy with the finished result. Designer Paddy & I have since been back and assisted in the placement of the American Fri/Freezer in the Utility Room. So the job is now complete. I have a professional photographer going in to take some proper pictures in a few weeks time as he is going to spend a day going round 3 different jobs and taking pictures of them all. One of which I'm nearly finished and the third one I'm starting next week.
