Thanks for popping to see me while I was at the ECF HQ on Thursday, I hope I didn't scare you too much when I mentioned I was on this forum. Going that little extra by showing me the Hoxton panels, after I mentioned reading Johnny's issues was extremely appreciated.

I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Sam about the new stuff you have in the pipeline and she has already delivered on some of my requests.

I would recommend any existing ECF customers go to your TSM and book a factory tour. You will get you questions answered and see how ECF is moving forward within the marketplace. That is what I'm taking from my trip anyway.
Thanks James, it was great to meet you. Looking forward to seeing some huge and ongoing orders!

Matt.

mezzyg, are you booked in? Marketing suite visits are strictly appt based so you don't clash with someone else visiting, we like your time to be yours and not shared. PM me if you would like me to look if times are free (unless this is already arranged of course!).

Sadly I'm not there as I'm on a day off for my wife's birthday. A massive day in the Hall calendar.

RE: New user - mst - 21-07-2016

I am a ECF customer since May.

Overall I am happy with things. I have had a couple issues that have been sorted and my TSM Steve Downer is always on hand and happy to help.

I have now braved it a bit and gave them a bedroom that I fitted last week, that was good and 3 door orders.

Next month I have 2 kitchens coming so looking forward to that.

My only beefs are -

online ordering would be a help (if done properly) I understand how hard this is to set up but ordering at the moment is a real ball ache and all to easy to get wrong.

Matt question - If a order of a kitchen unit is wrong like i order a 330 deep wall instead of a 300 does that still come under the returns policy being that its not MTM ?  I brick it a bit every time I do an order that im going to get something wrong? Its a bit uncomfortable/ off putting.

Also on my bedroom there was a big chunk out the side of a wardrobe that should have been picked up, it was even edged over and I did get away with it because it was up against a wall but what happens if that was no good and had to be sent back- would i have to wait for 2-3 weeks for another. It could be a major issue if I coundnt fit the infills etc because of having to replace a end etc.

The MFC price I am confused about.   The price code says something like cut unedged mfc per metre sqared.   which I took that as - send your sizes in of any measurement unedged mfc you want and we will charge you by the sqare metre like the goscote panels I thought. But the lady in the office said you dont do cut mfc? and will have to buy the rips/ bit confused on that. It would be so handy if I could order cut MFC I can tell you!

Thanks

MFC normally falls under the 2mm edged doors chart unless its a plinth etc

My TSM assures me any damages would be replaced within a week.

I like them, they are willing to help me out if I need it. When I spoke to PWS when I firsts set up they were arrogant buttheads on phone so I never went back.

Online portals don't matter to myself as all my orders are done on spreadsheet then converted to an email.

Sadly not, we dont 'stock' any carcass units we make them to order, even standard sizes. This means each job comes personalised with your customers reference on rather than a dusty box picked from a shelf and also why we can offer 20+ colours.

Also on my bedroom there was a big chunk out the side of a wardrobe that should have been picked up, it was even edged over and I did get away with it because it was up against a wall but what happens if that was no good and had to be sent back- would i have to wait for 2-3 weeks for another. In this instance, if you cant fit and 'get away with it' as you state alert us straight away as remedials (as well as additions) do get put thru quicker than the normal lead time (which should only be between 8-12 days depending on our next delivery to you).

We dont sell cut and egded (or unedged) MFC panels 'to size', however we do have a large number of RIPS (full in height but varying in widths) that should cater for most applications. Steve would be happy to go thru it with you if that still isn't clear.

Thanks

Hi MST,
I have replied above for you by each point, I hope it helps.

Matt.
