RE: Recommend a kitchen fitter in the UK - Fitter Steve - 14-04-2013 Im a bit pissed of by this. Some of us hear spend thousands with this company and they are going on random websites looking for fitters as well as sending emails out to old customers asking them to pass on details of their fitters. Why they havent got in contact with anyone who buys from their trade side to see if they would like to be included on their list of approved fitters is beyond me. Am I being reasonable in thinking they are overlooking fitters who spend a lot of money with them or are the playing ball? I for one will be calling them Monday morning and speaking to a director to get their opinion on it all. Also if anyone from Ultima would like to answer here??? We get alot of ppl on here flogging their sites RE: Recommend a kitchen fitter in the UK - snezza - 14-04-2013 You'll be lucky to get a response from Ultima on here Steve! It is practically impossible to get a decent response from them or the Rep on the phone or by E-mail, let alone on the KFF. Personally, I think its just a marketing ploy to get hold of Kitchen fitters/ retailers E-mail addresses and Telephone numbers so they can "Cold Call" them to see if you may be interested in buying their product. If you are an existing customer, they dont need to speak to you. It's just a means to an end as far as I can see. Just as a matter of interest, have you compared the prices of DIY.com with the prices you pay Ultima? I was going to ask Colour Republic the same question as I know he buys from Ultima as well. Yeah I check them from time to time which is easy enough to do I use KBB connect to generate a quote from ultima then I may check a few prices on DIY. There are on occassion times when certain items have been cheaper on DIY. Not very often but it has happened. A certain handle springs to mind but a quick call to them and the price has been dropped. The other thing is there are a few items that aren't on the KBB connect or are hard to find so I use DIY to get the product code to search KBB Connect |
