Spotted Blimey they really did tick everybox marked 'extras'. Really like the black ovens but as you say not so keen on the lower Combi one - really messes with the drawer lines as well. Would it not have been better to place the oven right at the top of the base with no top filler ? ..... would that not have better lined all three drawers up below and eitherside ? Anyhow looks good though mate RE: Another Handle-less Kitchen! - snezza - 05-12-2012 (05-12-2012, 09:45 PM)Daniel Wrote:(05-12-2012, 08:26 PM)snezza 31 Wrote: And another one of Daniel's favourite Glass Splash-Backs.........!!!! I totally hear what you're saying Daniel. I think the Combi should have been right at the top of the cabinet and the drawer below it should have been taller, but this is the way the cabinet is made by Ultima.........??? The drawer would have been a bit shorter than than adjacent drawers, but even so, would still have looked better! Ultima say that their kitchens are as good as the German cabinets that I do. I DONT THINK SO!!!!!........ enough said! When I spec a german kitchen, I have to tell them which appliance is going to be fitted, Name and code number. The cabinet is made to suit that appliance. Not with Ultima, they just make Generic cabinets and its up to me to cut the fillers to suit the appliance. I suppose thats why it's cheaper. The door/doors on the curved corner wall unit is made from 2 x 720mm high doors joined together. Ultima do'nt make a 900mm tall curved wall unit with a door. They do 900mm high wall units, just not curved doors. So, I had the cabinet made and ordered 2 doors, cut the top door down and joined them on-site. Not ideal I know, but needs must. By the way, client is going to paint the walls in a similar colour to the Red in the mosaic of the wall tiles. Snezza. RE: Another Handle-less Kitchen! - Fitter Steve - 05-12-2012 Like the idea of mitring the corner posts. Would make the j handle look better meeting in the corner. Let us know how you get on with it. That isn't the only handless white door they do... I just can't remember who the other one is, might be PWS Remo? Let me check if the do... Good job on the wall corner unit, worth the effort. RE: Another Handle-less Kitchen! - Fitter Steve - 05-12-2012 I think the reason Ultima dont do exactly what you want with this range is because they dont make the door for this range so are limited to what their supplier door sizes. If you went for the matt handless kitchen which they make themselves they would be able to do it to any spec you want. Planning on giving it a try then. I'm sure it will look a lot better than butting up RE: Another Handle-less Kitchen! - Fitter Steve - 05-12-2012 I think the reason Ultima dont do exactly what you want with this range is because they dont make the door for this range so are limited to what their supplier door sizes.
