Spent an entertaining (and informative) evening browsing through the forum. U all seem a friendly, hardworking bunch!
Ive been a chippe for 13 years and have nearly finished my NVQ L2 Heating and Plumbing .... could never find a plumber when needed.
Intend to concentrate on fitting kitchens and bathrooms and plan to have o so many questions...... Speak soon.

I was having a wonder around the site only a few days ago and found myself on a stats page and it said there were no female members.

Could say Im male and my parents thought my name would toughen me up, but yes Im female (last time i checked anyway!). Yes looks like a good forum here.

welcome to the forum Joanne, we have a good eclectic mix of odd balls here. having our first female chippy ( wood butcher ) with a blow lamp only adds to the mix.
i thought Majjie was our first.

We've only got a handful of female members here and most of them rarely post....
Majjie is more of a designer but we did have one girlie who fitted her own kitchen with help and guidance from us all here.....with stunning results. Having said that it was a few years back and I can't be arsed to find the thread right now.
Welcome to the forum Joanne. The language can get a bit choice on here at times as it is unrestricted but I'm sure you've heard it all before.
Get yourself up to 10 posts and then you can post up some pics of your jobs!
